1971 CORVETTE

A racing legend’s racing legend

A classic Corvette Stingray is inherently perfect. But technology can take perfection to a new level, as with the 1971 Corvette Stingray featuring the LT1 crate engine from Chevrolet Performance.

This Corvette was found of a daily driver in need of a little TLC. But TLC turned out to mean the first project-car installation of the 460-horsepower, 460 lb-ft of torque, 376-cubic-inch 6.2L LT1.

The ’71 Stingray’s modern power gets to the road thanks to the T56 Super Magnum 6-speed transmission. And with three shifter position capacity, and two-position shifter plate, shifter handle, and Chevrolet Performance-logo ball-type shifter knob included, the T56 is the perfect choice for professional and amateur racers alike.
