About the Wall Street Journal In-Vehicle App

The Wall Street Journal In-Vehicle App offers your favorite WSJ podcast series through your vehicle’s center display. Series include: “Tech News Briefing,” “What’s News,” “As We Work,” “The Journal,” “Your Money Briefing,” “Potomac Watch,” “Minute Briefing,” “The Future of Everything,” “Free Expression” and “Bad Bets”.

 

Download The Wall Street Journal In-Vehicle App (data connection required) using an eligible OnStar® plan, available through your vehicle’s infotainment system.


Getting Started

To get started, download The Wall Street Journal In-Vehicle App by opening the APPS icon or Google Play Store on your vehicle’s center display, depending on your model, and selecting THE WALL STREET JOURNAL.

 

Launch the app by tapping The Wall Street Journal icon on your vehicle’s center display. After opening the app, accept The Wall Street Journal’s Terms and Conditions.


Screen Controls

When you open The Wall Street Journal In-Vehicle App, you’ll see a series of tiles on the screen displaying the name of podcasts you can select.

 

Arrows on the right and left side of the screen let you scroll between pages of available podcasts.

 

When you select a podcast, the app will show the “Now Playing” screen, which displays the name of the episode, available artwork and the date the episode was released.

 

From here, you can pause the content that’s currently playing, skip forward and back 30 seconds within the episode, or skip forward and back between entire episodes.


For your security, please don’t include personal info such as phone number, address or credit card details.
