With the last Goodguys show of 2022 set for this weekend in Scottsdale, Arizona, we've been thinking back to some of our favorite builds from Goodguys events this year. One of the standouts is a father-daughter truck project named "Gert." We first saw the LT4-powered 1968 C10 during the Goodguys PPG Nationals in Columbus, Ohio, this summer.

West Virginia native Kelly Moss and his daughter Kenzie worked with Goolsby Customs on the build, whose "Gert" moniker comes from Kenzie's late Great Uncle Ronnie's pet nickname for her. The truck is finished in a green patina paint, features a custom interior and rides on a Roadster Shop chassis.

The truck also utilizes a Ridetech air suspension system for an aggressive, low stance.

Under the hood sits a supercharged, 6.2L Chevrolet Performance LT4 crate engine* rated at 650 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft. of torque. The Mosses chose the engine for its ease of use and easily accessible power.

"I expected it to feel more beefy or something like that, but it drives real smooth," Kenzie Moss said of the LT4 power plant.

The engine (which is mated to a 4L80-E four-speed automatic transmission) was also a simple installation into the nearly 55-year-old truck.

Today, we've made two cool photos of the C10 into Wallpaper Wednesday downloads. High-resolution desktop and mobile images are available below.
