In the middle of the NASCAR Playoffs lies the Charlotte Motor Speedway ROVAL, a daunting 17-turn, 2.32-mile road course which also serves as a cutoff race for both the NASCAR Cup and Xfinity Series. The result is that eight drivers from each series advance to continue their chase for the championship, while four see their title hopes dashed.

This past weekend, Team Chevy road course ace AJ Allmendinger drove his No. 16 Kaulig Racing Camaro SS to his fourth consecutive Xfinity Series victory at the track. It was also his fifth Xfinity win of the season and the 15th of his career. Ten of those triumphs have come on road course layouts, while both his wins in the Cup Series have come turning left and right. That means whenever Allmendinger is in the field on those tracks, he becomes the favorite.
It was a big week for Allmendinger, who also announced he would be returning to the Cup Series full-time with Kaulig in 2023. For now though, he is one of the leading contenders to score the Xfinity Series title.
Prior to Saturday's Drive for the Cure 250, our cameras caught Allmendinger's car basking in the sunlight of the Xfinity Series garage at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Later in the day, Allmendinger would put it in Victory Lane after leading 25 laps.
Now, we've made a shot of the sun-soaked car into a Wallpaper Wednesday download. High-resolution desktop and mobile images are below.
