Rain or shine, the Goodguys Rod & Custom Association delivers. If you found yourself entering the Ohio Expo Center wondering, “Why do they call this ‘the BIG ONE’?”, the thousands of vehicles stretched as far as the eye can see would be all the answer you needed.

The 25th Goodguys Summit Racing Nationals brought all kinds of cool Chevrolet vehicles to Columbus, Ohio.

Enthusiasts, car collectors and newbies with a screw loose brought their pet projects to the 25th Summit Racing Nationals presented by PPG, one of the largest automotive events in the nation from July 7-9, dazzling and delighting attendees with builds old, new and eccentric.

Do you have a love for loud colors? Goodguys had the full rainbow on display. Do you live for the sound of a revving engine? Chevrolet Performance crate engines* and built power plants roared across the entire Expo Center. Do you want nothing more than to take up-close pictures of classic car emblems and marvel at rare hood ornaments? Those are some pretty specific desires, but you certainly wouldn’t leave this event disappointed.

Over 450 vendor and manufacturer exhibits sprawled across asphalt lots, shaded pathways, indoor spaces and massive rigs. Cars were artfully displayed, roaming the space, up for sale and burning rubber on designated tracks.

Every Goodguys show features some impressive builds.

Autocross, burnouts and giveaways aside, the three-day celebration of automotive ingenuity also featured the finalists for Goodguys 2023 Street Machine of the Year and Goodguys 2023 Street Rod of the Year.

While winners were crowned, many would say the real winners were the friends we made along the way.

An extensive Chevrolet-centric photo gallery from the 25th Summit Racing Nationals is below, and be sure to keep watching The BLOCK for much more on the vehicles and people from this year’s event.
