The C10 Nationals is known as "America's Truck Event." With a tagline like that, what better place to host than Texas Motor Speedway?

Officially called the ClassicParts.com C10 Nationals presented by Chevrolet Performance, the fifth edition of this year's Texas event is slated for this Friday and Saturday, May 12-13.

Since its origins in 2018, the show has expanded to three events; the others this year will be held in Salt Lake City, Utah (June 23-24), and Nashville, Tennessee (September 29-30). However, the Texas Motor Speedway program has become synonymous with the "C10 Nationals" name.

As always, this year's event is open to 1947 and up full-frame Chevrolet and GMC trucks, SUVs and 4x4s. Nearly 2000 vehicles are expected to fill the infield of the 1.5-mile "Great American Speedway" near Fort Worth. Trucks from 32 states, Canada and Mexico are already registered for the event, with visitors from the United Kingdom, Puerto Rico and Australia also expected to attend.

Among the vehicles slated to be on hand are a wide variety of restomod builds powered by Chevrolet Performance crate engines* and built on aftermarket chassis, along with pristinely restored, numbers-matching originals. While the event is called the C10 Nationals, everything from Apaches to Silverados are likely to be part of the show.

This year's festivities include a show-n-shine truck show, autocross competition, dyno challenge, vendor midway, swap meet and truck corral, and a donuts and drifting exhibition on both days. Friday's program is punctuated by drag racing in the evening, while a burnout contest and awards ceremony (featuring dozens of awards) are among the highlights on Saturday. An after-party track cruise closes out the weekend on Saturday night.

Throughout the weekend, attendees will also be able to see the action from high above thanks to the C10 Circus Ferris wheel.

The pre-registration deadline has passed, but registration is available at the gate for $80 covering one truck and two spectators. Registration also includes entry into all giveaways (including the event's popular giveaway truck), but the winner must be present.

A two-day spectator pass is available for $40 and includes entrance to all giveaways as well, but again, the winner must be present to claim their prize. Single-day passes for either Friday or Saturday are $20, but do not include giveaway entries.

The BLOCK team will also be on site each day scouring the grounds for some of the coolest Chevrolet Performance builds at the event called "The Big One."
