The spectacle of four-wide drag racing attracts large crowds, but for many, the race cars themselves are the stars of the show at the track just outside Charlotte.
Chevrolet vehicles on hand at the event range from John Force Racing's nitro-burning, 11,000 horsepower beasts competing in Funny Car and Top Fuel, to vintage Camaros and other GM muscle-car products that dot the Stock Eliminator and Super Stock ranks.
Plus, the Flexjet Factory Stock Showdown pits the COPO Camaro against other factory muscle from the Big Three, while the Camaro SS-heavy Pro Stock category showcases factory hot rods powered by naturally aspirated 500 cubic-inch engines.

Those are just a few of the highlights, the Bowtie also shows up in categories including Pro Mod, Top Sportsman and more.
