Trucks and Texas are a perfect match. So even though the C10 Nationals slate has grown to include yearly events in Utah and Tennessee, it’s fitting that the flagship event is held each May at Texas Motor Speedway.

This year’s Texas C10 Nationals brought more than 1,500 vehicles to Texas Motor Speedway.

This year’s program, officially called the ClassicParts.com C10 Nationals presented by Chevrolet Performance, attracted vehicles from across North America for its Texas show. The C10 Nationals concept is open to full-size/full-frame 1947 and up Chevrolet or GMC trucks, SUVs or 4x4s, and many of each filled the infield of the 1.5-mile track near Fort Worth.

The facility, nicknamed “The Great American Speedway,” is known for its jaw-dropping speed during NASCAR and NTT INDYCAR SERIES races. During the C10 Nationals, the massive facility serves as the perfect backdrop for the most American of shows.

Across two gorgeous days on the Friday and Saturday before Mother’s Day, the 2024 Texas C10 Nationals featured an extensive truck show, vendor midway, swap meet, truck corral, autocross competition, dyno challenge, and a donuts and drifting exhibition. More than 1,500 trucks were in attendance for the festivities.

Friday night was capped by drag racing on pit road, while Saturday also featured a burnout contest, awards ceremony, and the opportunity for participants to drive on the track in the evening.

The burnout contest is always among the most popular activities on the C10 Nationals docket.

Restored originals, restomods featuring crate engine* power, and even some purpose-built race trucks were all part of the action at this year’s Texas edition of “America’s Truck Event.”
