The story goes that green cars get the most attention at shows. At this year’s Goodguys Summit Racing Nationals in Columbus, Ohio, Scott Nickoli’s Synergy Green 1957 Chevrolet Sedan Delivery proved that theory.
But while attendees might have been drawn in by the car’s paint and detailed pinstriping, what’s under the hood stopped them in their tracks. The Tri-Five is powered by a Chevrolet Performance ZZ572/620 crate engine.*
“It’s got a lot of torque,” Nickoli said during the show at the Ohio Expo Center. “A lot of torque and a lot of power. This car will bury you in the seat in a heartbeat.”
The 572 cu.-in. Big-Block is rated at 621 horsepower and 645 lb.-ft.of torque. The power plant is built on a cast-iron block with four-bolt main caps and features an all-forged rotating assembly. Deluxe and Base options are available.
The Sedan Delivery belonged to Nickoli’s late friend Joel Hipp, and now it serves as a tribute to his vision.
Today, we’ve made an image of the standout green ride into a wallpaper download. High-resolution desktop and mobile options are available below.
